Many hoarders in an attempt to further isolate themselves and to protect their possesions will install security bars or screens on their windows and doors. This video shows why this is not a good idea. If you insist on installing these security bars, make sure a quick release is also installed on the inside so they can be removed quickly. This video was filmed in Houston on a firefighters helmet camera as they were dispatched to a residential structure fire with a trapped victim.
